Lonestar Plate - Meet a Texan Vegan

Though I hesitate to call myself a "Texan" (I'm really a pretty recent transplant), I'm quite flattered to be featured on Lone Star Plate's most recent post for a series on the blog called "Meet a Texan Vegan".

There, I talk about my experience as a vegan in TX, and share some thoughts about food. :)

I'm looking forward to reading about other vegans in this neck of the woods!

I'm a San Antonio vegan too! I have a facebook page called Vegan Eats and I post everything that I make or eat out. I just found your blog today through: http://www.sanantoniovegans.com/

When I lived in Texas in the early 90's I didn't meet any other vegans or vegetarians but there was lots of interest in vegan cooking as I got to teach some classes while I was there. It's great to see vegan blogs by young mothers - there's a healthy, caring future ahead! I'm enjoying your blog!

Thanks so much, Gina! I haven't been updating much lately as I've had to look for a full time job. I do hope to start updating again sometime in the next few months, but I'll have to see how it goes. Thanks for such a nice comment!
